Be the representative on your campus

ovoy cannot open on a campus without one. The role is voluntary, about two to three hours a week, for one semester.

What the job is

  • Meet a student in person and check their ID.
  • Before a prize is paid, check the winner's mobile number and ID together.
  • Tell your campus about ovoy's contests and games, especially before headline round registration closes.

What you get

  • Access to the diaspora network

Thirty minute mentoring calls, CV reviews and referrals from sponsors who are working engineers, doctors and accountants abroad. This is the headline benefit.

  • A verifiable credential

A signed certificate at the end of term with a public verification link, and a reference letter.

  • Costs reimbursed

Mobile data, transport for verification visits, and an ID. This is reimbursement, not a wage.

  • A say, and a path

Representatives have a say in real policy: verification rules, contest subjects and the calendar. There is a route to senior and then regional coordinator.

Rules that never relax

  1. A representative is never paid for verifying anyone. Not ever.
  2. 2A representative can never verify themselves.
  3. 3Prize money never passes through a representative. ovoy pays the winner directly.
  4. 4Never take money from a student. Doing so ends the role immediately.
