Privacy policy
We collect only what a competition actually needs.
What we collect
- At signup: your name, district, upazila, institution and email address. You sign in with a code sent to that email, so there is no password to keep.
- What you do on the site: contest entries and answers, practice sets, every game run and its score, and your coin history.
- If you buy coins: the packet, how you sent the money and the transaction number, so a person can check it.
- If you set one, a pseudonym, which is the only name a public board shows. Also your referral code, and who signed up with it.
- If a representative verifies you in person: your phone number, student ID number, the institution on the card and your address. Your address is visible only to you. A portrait, if one is taken, is kept in private storage that only you and a verifier at your own university can open. Of the national ID only a one way hash is kept: never the number itself, and never a photograph of the card.
Where the data lives
Your account and everything above are stored in a database run on Supabase. Rules inside the database decide who can read what: other students cannot see your record, and a representative sees only what a verification needs. Marks are worked out by the database itself, never by your browser.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or pass personal details to third parties.
- We do not use advertising trackers.
- Published results show name and institution only, never phone numbers.
